Servicing
Keeping your car regularly serviced can help to extend the life of the major components and maintain its re-sale value when you come to sell it.
Different makes and models of car have differing servicing schedules, these are usually printed in the handbook or servicing record supplied with the car.
There are two main types of servicing; interim and full. Interim services are usually carried out every 6,000 miles (or 6 months) and include:
- Engine oil (we recommend and supply Shell and Millers lubricants)
- Change oil/air filters
- Oil fluid levels checked and topped up
- All-round tyre legal and safety check
- Cost: £28 + parts + VAT
Full services are usually carried out every 12,000 miles (or annually) and cover everything in the interim service plus:
- Engine oil (we recommend and supply Shell and Millers lubricants)
- Change oil/air filters
- Sparking plugs replaced
- All filters checked (including air & fuel)
- Oil fluid levels checked and topped up
- All-round tyre legal and safety check
- Cost: £75 + parts + VAT
Servicing consumables are included in the price of servicing, however if you wish to supply your own please let us know when you book.
