Brakes

Brakes represent one of the most important safety aspects of your car for obvious reasons. Keeping your entire braking system maintained properly can reduce your stopping distance in an emergency and ultimately save lives.

Our technicians can assess your brake pads, shoes, discs and drums for wear and tell you how much ‘life’ is left in each component. It’s then up to you whether or not to have them replaced using parts supplied by us or your own parts if you prefer.

Clutch

If you're having trouble with your clutch we can help diagnose, and if necessary, correct the problem. We've been working on clutches for over 25 years, so we're very experienced at fault finding and can source replacement parts very competitively.

Cam belts

It's important to remember that the potential damage to your engine through a broken cam belt will always be significantly greater than replacing the cam belt. If in any doubt as to your car's history, for example when you buy a car second-hand, it's a good idea to have the cam belt inspected or replaced.

Exhausts

We can supply and fit partial or complete exhaust systems for almost any car. Parts are usually available through our same-day service. If you know the parts you need, we can order them ahead of your visit and fit them while you wait.

An efficient exhaust system is vital to the safety of the occupants of your vehicle and also to the smooth and efficient running of your engine. A poorly performing exhaust can adversely affect fuel consumption and in some cases can result in noxious fumes making their way into the passenger compartment resulting in carbon monoxide poisoning.

Suspension & steering

If your suspension and steering systems aren't maintained properly it can cause poor handling, excessive tyres wear, damage to the systems themselves and in some cases contribute to road traffic accidents. 

Batteries

We can check and replace your battery for you when it eventually needs to be changed. Most batteries these days are maintenance free and have an expiry date marked on them. It makes sense to note this date down and give youself time to get it changed before get into your car to find it won't start.
